(U//FOUO) On October 7, 2014, the FBI released a two minute version of the Flames of War video, along with still photos, on FBI.gov. CTD is working with the Office of Public Affairs (OPA), the Public Access Line Unit, CJIS, and the Guardian Operations Unit, to ask for the publics help in identifying the man in the ISIL propaganda video, and to identify individuals traveling in support of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and other groups throughout the world. On Friday, September 19, 2014, ISIL released a propaganda video entitled Flames of War. The 55 minute video is intended to appeal to a Western audience and features voice narration in English with a North American accent. Notably, the masked individual who appears towards the end of the video is seemingly a native English speaker, also with a North American accent.
