U.S. Army Veteran Murdered in the Philippines By JJJackson40 | Posted February 18, 2013 | Poplar Bluff, Missouri1 Share My Father, Mack Carroll Jackson, was murdered inside of his hotel room at The Sampaquita Inn in Davao City, Philippines last weekend. My Father was a disabled Vietnam Veteran. He has vacationed in the Philippines every winter for about 5 or 6 years. His hotel room was approx. 50 ft. from the front desk, but none of the staff report that they heard or saw anything. The hotel has security guards and cameras, but somehow there still hasnt been anyone charged with his murder. Trying to get any real information about what has happened to my Father has been extremely difficult. I am also a disabled Army veteran with 2 tours in Afghanistan and 1 in Iraq. Any attention that could be brought to this or help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.
