U.S. Chamber of Commerce Bestows the Fort Bend Chamber with Accreditation On November 6, 2014, the Accrediting Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce designated the Fort Bend Chamber as an Accredited chamber with 5-Stars. Accreditation with 5-Stars is the highest honor and indicates that a chamber of commerce operates under effective organizational procedures and contributes to significant positive change in the community. To achieve this standing, an intensive audit of our operations was conducted in nine areas of work, including governance, government affairs, and technology. The Fort Bend Chamber is the only chamber in the Greater Houston region to earn the 5-Star level.
