U.S Forces where ambushed by taliban during a recon patrol after being hit by a massive IED and came under rpg and small arms fire in the Paktika Province. The soldiers returned fire and the attackers exfiled just before an AT4 shot on their expected position in a pumphouse. After clearing the area the soldiers found shell casings, footprints and little elses left behind by the taliban. A lot of thanks for the info goes out to Sgt. J. Daniele, Able Company 1/506th.
