U.S. Supreme Court Passes on Third Circuit Privilege case. Somehow the Constitutional Challenge of Rule 1.6 went before the Supreme Court of the US. They passed on reviewing it. BUT, HOW DID IT GET THERE. We did not submit to SCOTUS as their independence was affected by McDade Murtha making it pointless to ask for a review. The timing on the case submitted to SCOTUS is very similar. There is limited information available. A Grand Jury was somehow involved. Still trying to figure this out... BUT I THINK IT IS A VERY VERY GOOD SIGN.
