U of D beat Oak Park 14-8 on Friday night to win their district. They demonstrated some real toughness by stopping Oak Paark on 4th and 1 to take over possession of the ball and win the game. Now they play Brother Rice at 1:00 pm, Saturday, at Berkly High School field. This is the Cubs biggest game in years. As a result, I am challenging all alumni and friends of U of D to attend the game. This maybe a once in a lifetime occurrence. The crowds for the last 2 games havent been as large as I thought they would be so they need you. Lets create a home field advantage at Rice to help lead the Cubs to vistory.
