U12 Falcons 5 21st Allstars 5 A cracking league opener at Oakleaf against a team expected to go straight back up to the division above. In brief, we found ourselves behind early on but battled back to equalise and then take a 2-1 lead. Lapses in Falcons concentration in midfield and defence and a long ball tactic then put the visitors on top 3-2 but we battled back to equalise before we conceded again to go in at half time 4-3 down. Second half saw much of the same and again we equalised to make the game level again at 4-4. The Allstars came strong again and when they scored they thought they had won the game 5-4. But the Falcons never gave up and we equalised yet again to end the game 5-5 in a fair and exciting game. Falcons goals from Cameron Cook (3) Callum Brown and super sub Jak Kennedy.
