U2s Bono suffered much more than just a broken arm when he crashed his bike in New Yorks Central Park last weekend. Early reports said he had surgery to repair a fractured arm which he suffered when he swerved to avoid another rider, but doctors say his injuries were much more serious. In addition to his shattered arm, he also fractured his shoulder in three places and broke the orbital bone around his eye. Doctors needed three metal plates and 18 screws to repair his arm. He also fractured a bone in his hand. His doctor says Bono will make a full recovery but he will have to undergo extensive therapy.
