UAE public sector to have 5-day Eid holiday Holiday to start from July 27 to July 31 Published: 11:13 July 20, 2014 Public sector workers in UAE will have a five-day holiday on Eid Al Fitr from July 27 to July 31, the office of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced on Sunday. Based on the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi, chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issued the circular to announce the holidays. The announcement means public sector staff will get nine consecutive days off, including two weekends. Holidays for the private sector are not yet confirmed. - gulf news
