UAW Local 6000 members here is the Facebook Summary for 2014. 1400 Likes. The page has hopefully met its goal of being fun and informative. We did have some controversy. Here are some the posts that ruffled some feathers. Some members wanted explanation on this page regarding why certain state buildings or worksites were closed and others remained open. This was during a snow storm in December 2013. Some people complained the we posted to many health and wellness posts. Some people complained we had Union Dog featured. Some people complained the picture of Facebook manager Ray Holman and his 2007 used Escalade was showing off. The post with the most response was the one regarding Kristine Wittlinger and Andrea Hicks. They of course where the CPS workers who were tragically killed in a car crash together while on duty in Jackson County. We are proud to report that all major State Employee issues were covered on this page. We also had lots of laughs and fun. In closing please help promote this page with UAW Local members in 2015.
