UCCI CARIBBEAN CONFERENCE TRANSMITS GLOBALLY The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) wishes to inform the public that the Commissioner, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara will take part in a three day conference at the University College of the Cayman Islands (USSI). The aim of the conference is to raise awareness on the potential for corruption and the decline in ethical standards across all the various sectors of society, and the consequent damaging effects on economies and social harmony. The conference will focus on strategies of various regional and extra-regional government and organizations, public and private, to raise sensitivity to these threats and how to curb and work to eliminate them. Representing Sierra Leone, Commissioner Kamara will be part of a Plenary Round Table Discussion on the theme, Models of Anti-Corruption Institutions: Lessons for the Region on Friday March 21st 2014 between 10:00 and 11:30 Caribbean time, 3:00pm and 4:30pm local time.
