UEFA announce Team of the Year shortlist with just SEVEN out of 40 from Premier League CHELSEA, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City have all had players nominated for UEFAs Team of the Year. Blue duo Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa - who spent the first half of the year at Atletico Madrid - are among those nominated. Man Citys Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta and Yaya Toure make the cut while Arsenals Alexis Sanchez and Man Uniteds Angel Di Maria are also involved. But former Liverpool star Luis Suarez has been snubbed and misses out. Gareth Bale, who helped Real Madrid clinch thier tenth European crown is in involved and competes with the likes of Thomas Muller, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and and Karim Benzema. Of the seven Premier League players, only Citys three were in the league last year while the other four joined in the summer.
