UF MEDLIFE focuses on providing medicine, education, and development to the local community. With an officer board of over 30 experienced leaders, we strive to improve the lives of the underserved. What do we do? - Collaborate with Shands Hospital and other medical programs - Volunteer to help the sick & poor within Gainesville on a weekly basis - Guide younger students with our recognized Mentor-Mentee Program - Network with professionals in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy - Fundraise via philanthropies i.e. Dance Marathon, Relay for Life etc. - Develop & spread new ideas at national conferences - Travel abroad annually on medical/dental/pharmaceutical service trips to impoverished nations How do you join?: Since UF MEDLIFE has NO membership fees and NO official point system, just simply stay updated by following our social media outlets. Come to our general body meetings, volunteering, and philanthropies. UF MEDLIFE believes in merit and self-initiative.
