UH SCHOOL OF LAW CHILLI COOK-OFF - 9th FEBRUARY 2015!!! An unprecedented 16 (yes, SIXTEEN) teams are taking part in this years chilli cook-off, and YOU will be the judges! Teams captained by Dean Charles Wild, Associate Deans Penny Carey and Neal Geach, tutors Dan Berger, Edina Harbinja, Chamu Kuppuswamy, Ernestine Ndze, Steve Goulton, Steph Worrell, Miles Hurley, Geraldine Poulain, Claudia Carr, Maureen Johnson and the staff in the Law Admin office will be going head-to-head with student teams of first, second and final year students. You are cordially invited to the Weston Auditorium at 12pm on Monday 9th February to sample all of the teams chilli (veggie options available) and vote for your winner. Last year saw Dan Berger (me) win the title - but with more teams competing, will he (me) win again??? For those final year students who are eligible to complete the National Student Survey (NSS), a free commemorative hoodie will be given. However, the chilli cook-off is open to ALL students to come, taste and judge, regardless of year or programme of study. Last year saw 400 students involved - lets see if we can top that number this year! Along with the chilli tasting, there will be free drinks and snacks, and best of all... a real mariachi band - Mariachi Ole Trio, to serenade the competitors and judges. Please see the attached flyer for details of the teams competing, or email Dan for more details at [email protected]. See you there! Dan
