UK Staff Search: Search results Quality Technician Title: Quality Technician Category: Engineering Type: Permanent Status: Full Time Salary: £28.00 - £32.00 Per: annum Location: England, North East, County Durham, Newton Aycliffe Description: Our client is a world class designer, developer and manufacturer of chassis structural and suspension products to the automotive industry who supply customers such as BMW, Ford, Honda, Nissan and Jaguar throughout Europe and the rest of the world.You will report directly to the Quality Engineer, ensuring all quality elements of standard operations are being adhered to by all shift operatives. Also identifying product and process improvements by conducting daily conformance audits and feeding back information to relevant area. You will be required to collect and analyse quality data relating to scrap, rework and audit results, conduct and feedback poke yoke conformance audits as required within procedural guidelines. Your role will also involve ensuring adherence to product identification and traceability procedures and also undertaking in process and finished stock product inspections to identify any nonconforming product. You may be required to visit customer/supplier locations in order to resolve concerns.You should have served a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering subject and also have gained an appropriate qualification in an Engineering/Manufacturing discipline such as a Btec National (ONC) or Higher National (HNC).Salary includes shift allowance (Working a 3 shift rotation)This job is being advertised on behalf of Temp-Team Ltd., who are acting as an employment agency / EB.
