UK gives thumbs up to Sisis roadmap: News: A UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) spokesperson told Ahram Online Saturday that his government is working with the [Egyptian] interim government to encourage an inclusive democratic transition. Asked about his government’s view of the roadmap adopted nearly five months ago following Islamist president Mohamed Morsis ouster, the FCO spokesperson said: We support the process which is currently taking place. He also affirmed the UK does not back any specific political party or group in Egypt as it strongly supports an inclusive political system which allows all groups in society to be represented and in which freedom of expression is respected. Al-Ahram 01/12/2013 Comment: The UK and the West have no shame in endorsing the coup that took place in Egypt and at the very same time as armoured vehicles armed with grenades and tear gas are assaulting university students across the country. At the same time as students are still being killed, young women and university students are being handed 11 year sentences and the prisons are being filled by anyone who does not sing the praises of Sisi, the coup and the murderous tactics that have led to thousands of deaths many of which were as a result of horrific torture. Protests have last week been made illegal in Egypt and anyone who speaks ill of Sisis regime is targeted. Despite this the West has remained silent and has cooperated with the regime and endorsed its roadmap. The West proves once again that democracy, freedom, human rights and pluralism are just slogans and tools that they use when they need to but in reality there is only one value that concerns them and that is the material value. So in the case of the UK as long as British Gas can continue to make millions from Egypt then that is all that concerns them. These imaginary ideals do not exist in reality in any place or time and it is a duty for all Muslims and people of sound intellect to reject them and their use to colonise lands. In Syria they have allowed the Asad regime to kill over 150000 people including up to 15000 children whilst they shape the political roadmap with their agents to make sure the land remains completely in line with their interests. In Egypt the same hypocrisy stands out just as it did in regards to Bosnia, Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya or the Muslims of Burma, China and India amongst many others. We must reject the evil of capitalism and its lies, deceit, dirty politics and hypocrisy which is a result of a man made system that has made the material value dominate over all else. We must embrace the system that has come from the Lord of the Worlds Allah (swt) that does not lie or deceive and remains continually upon the truth and brings justice and mercy to the whole of mankind. Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darkness and into the light by permission of their Lord, to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy (Ibrahim 1).
