UMBUZO AWUBUZANI - Literally: a question should not be questioned [Loosely translated: You cannot respond to a question with another question.] In an effort to claim Logic as a European invention, a certain dude bashed Africans as having never had Logic. After a debate which ensures he backtracks and accepts that the Chinese were ahead or on par with Europeans at one point, the guy makes a claim that is analogously congruent to saying we had no biology while trying to say we had no study of biology!! Oh well, after getting his point: reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity., I guess examples like umbuzo awubuzani which seek to address a mode of reasoning, do not count as some developments in the study of reason :P
