UN POCO DE HISTORIA Mexico’s Revolution Day (Dia de la Revolución) is a national public holiday that is celebrated on November 20th. The Mexican Revolution lasted from 1910 to around 1920. This was a time of political and social unrest in Mexican history. It began with efforts to oust president Porfirio Diaz and officially came to an end with the promulgation of a new constitution. This is the second most important holiday in Mexico and it is celebrated with festivals and parades.
