When Elijah came to sit under a juniper tree, revival went to sleep and the music at Camel ceased....It was like a dead-on-arrival thing. And you know, Elijah suddenly disappeared without leaving a word or note behind, not even to his closest aide, the brother he left at Beersheba knew where he fled to. What kind of revivalist was Elijah....What about you brother? Where have you fled to? What happened to the Nigerian campus revival of the 1980s? Where are the leading lights of that revival? What happened to the SU revival of the 70s in Nigeria? Mind you that revival was not about the organization called SU. Not at all. There was a time when every serious minded believer irrespective of denominational bias was branded an SU. Possibly, some uncles and aunties of that revival fled to sit at the posh office of politics. Possibly, some Andrewed Away disguised as missionaries into Europe and America and you hardly hear from them again....When Elijah fled, some of the fire brand brothers that were with him, went back, tails between their legs to go and apologize to the chief promoter of Baalism, Queen Jezebel, begging her to forgive their fanaticism and foolishness.
