UNDER -AGED MARRIAGE. Why can,t those in the national assembly,think of our predicament derives from a physiological confusion caused by our inability or refusal to reconcile the different elements in our national personality.Today, when we look at Nigeria,no matter from whatever direction,no matter the focus of our perspective, everything which we see bear the frightful aspect of a dichotomy. The north/south dichotomy The south/west dichotomy Majority/minority dichotomy Muslim/Christian dichotomy Civilian/military dichotomy Urban/rural Dichotomy Rich man/poor man dichotomy The traditional/modern dichotomy The list is long and seemingly interminable,since our accession to independence. WHY CAN,T THOSE IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY,find solution to this sickness(dichotomy) instead of the EARLY GIRL marriage.Because we have found no cure to Dichotomy,and even our leaders do not even seek a cure,it continues to spread thereby enhancing its virulence.
