UNDER 11s I would encourage all interested U11s to try out for the Toowoomba U11 sides. They usually take a few teams away and it is a great opportunity to play against teams from other places. Here is the info you need: Under 11 Representative Information Who can participate? Any registered players aged 9-11 years What? Trialling to represent Toowoomba in the Under 11 age group What does representing Toowoomba in an under 11’s team mean? Players aged 9-11years from all over south-east Queensland are selected in regional teams to participate in a 1 day tournament (called Southern Cross for girls and Coulter Shield for boys) in Brisbane on the 4th of August. If selected, your son or daughter will have the opportunity to play against players from other regions in mini tournament games. What’s involved? Any registered under 11 players may try out. If selected, players will need to attend training sessions on Thursday afternoons (4:00-5:30pm) on the following dates: 13th, 20th June, 11th, 18th, 25th July and the 1st of August. Players will have the opportunity to engage in a mini, friendly tournament with Ipswich before the competition tournament (21st July). The tournament will take place in Brisbane on Sunday the 4th August. Players and parents will need to be available for this date. Parents will need to provide individual transport to training and tournaments for their children. A uniform will need to be purchased (socks and skirt/shorts). The tournament is free of charge. When?
