UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS BEHIND SELF DESTRUCTION - Hello Sam, I agree that it seems that we are moving towards self destruction or a challenging times for human life to be sustained in our planet, and in reality there is not much we can do except to understand what is behind all of this. It seems that the whole design or sub-conscious programing of human beings is based on fear and the desire to protect against ones fear. This fear-desire phenomenon develops into the desire to secure, to protect, and to preserve our sense of individual existence, even at the cost of our own mother nature. Greed, egoism, envy, competition, aggression, all spring as a second generation of mental attitudes with its origin at this Existential Fear in the mind of every human being. The collective sub-conscious mind of the whole, inevitably compels us into the path of self-destruction. This Maya, this Creation, seems to be working this way forever and to remain the same in future times. To go on the streets or in the internet with the intent to promote the comprehension of higher values to average people can prove to be a frustrating and impossible endeavor, because higher social, spiritual, and moral values cannot be imposed or offered to anyones mind, unless ones mind is pure and well developed to embrace it. As every true sage always points out, the only solution for our existential affliction in Maya is to go beyond it and see what is behind all of this. And it cannot be done collectively as a group, but by ones deepest individual inner works. Love
