My head feeling slightly heavy. Did I drink yesterday? No no. It is the effect if thinking about those bloody losers. Huh. I looked at the time. Seven in the morning. I freshened up. I went to the kitchen and toasted breads for me. I thought of calling Sanyukta,but i dint. She was probably sleeping. Why disturb her? I had just finished eating one toast when my phone rang. Sahil Calling Were the memories of last night less that this guy had to call me up in the morning. Huh. I thought of ignoring but thanks to my curiosity,i picked the call after a few seconds. I-Hello. Sahil-Hello. Good Morning Dear Randhir! I-Dear? Now where does that come from? Sahil-Come on dude. Atleast not today! I-Why? Whats so special today? Someone dying today? Sahil-How could you forget yaar. Its my birthday. MY BIRTHDAY! Immediately my anger changed to grief. I-So? Sahil-Lets celebrate. I-What? You kidding me? Sahil-No yaar. I am serious. I will be waiting. And dress up well... Niharika will be present. --Call Cut-- Niharika. The only word lingering over my mind.I closed my eyes. I could still see her,I could still feel her,i could still listen to her. I couldnt let her be alone with those guys. But she dint know about my rift with Sahil and Rohan. That meant we had to still act like best friends. That would be tough but i will do anything for Niharika. I threw the rest of the toasts in the dustbin,changed into a black shirt and dark blue denims. I was conscious of how i was looking after years. I had to,again only and only for Niharika. Oh god Nihi. How would i face her after soo many days? What if i break down? No i had to be strong. Again only for Nihi. I went out and rode on my Royal Enfield to the address Sahil messaged me. On the way i also bought a present for him. I had to look like a person who is attending his best friends birthday. I had to buy a gift. I soon reached a mansion,well decorated and painted. I stood outside still thinking whether i should go in or not. One moment i thought i should go back to home and behave normal,the other moment i felt the need to go in,just to see Niharika. Finally i decided to enter the house. There i first saw Sahil and Rohan talking to each other. Sahil saw me. Sahil-Arey Randhir! You finally here. .missed you soo much bro. And he hugged me,i hugged him back. I knew i had to act. Sahil(whispering to me)-Feels good to hug you after an exact of eight years. I felt a tear dropping from my eyes. I cleaned it before anyone saw them. I-Happy birthday bro! Sahil-Thanks a lot Randhir. I soon felt a presence in the hall. It was familiar. Even after soo many years i hadnt forgotten it.
