UNION OF CAMPUS JOURNALISTS, LAUTECH. UNETHICAL JOURNALISM The Union of Campus Journalists LAUTECH wants to bring to notice of students and staffs of LAUTECH that it dissociates itself from activities of a Press Organisation on campus called Press LAUTECH and has its facebook Page as so. On 12/03/2014 the admin of the page posted a campaign for a student union presidential aspirant known as Arexzie. An act the Union finds unconstitutional because Press Organisations are meant to be neutral. The post has seen been brought down, and the union wishes to say emphatically that it is not affiliated, neither does it have any stake in the so called Press LAUTECH It is unethical for a journalist to take sides, or declare interests to influence decisions to be taken by individuals in the society.
