Mustafa Shah Tel [Off.]:- 0194-2415318 Fax:0194-2415318 kashmiruniversity.ac.i n Page 1 of 11 (A) GENERAL GUIDELINES The application form is to be submitted ONLINE up to 09th April 2014 through the Kashmir University Websites: kashmiruniversity.net & kashmiruniversity.ac.i n against Rs. 450 [per-form per-course] to be paid through pay-in-slip of the J&K Bank Finacle Account No: 0007010100002714 A copy of the auto generated application form, complete in all respects, and including following documents, should be submitted in the office of the College Development Council up to 10th April 2014 ,2:00 p:m. (i) Matriculation Certificate for Date of Birth; (ii) Marks Card of class 12th Class (Higher Secondary Part II); (iii) Category certificate (if any) Issued by the Competent Authority; (iv) Permanent Residence Certificate / School last attended. A desirous candidate can apply for more than one Programme/Course. The eligible candidates are required to opt for any of the three courses within their own District / Geographical zone only. While filling the application form/s, the candidates are required to indicate the choice of the Govt./Non-Govt. College/institution including the name. As a special case, the eligible candidates from Ladakh division can apply for B.Sc-IT Programme in the S.P. College, Srinagar. The selectees failing to join the allotted college/s by or before the last fixed date shall forfeit the right to admission, and the resultant vacancies shall be filled on the basis of counseling. The admission of the eligible candidates shall be on the basis of the marks obtained by him/her in the last qualifying examination (10+2) level. The date of counseling shall be fixed immediately after the last fixed date in the admission list and a separate notice shall be issued for the purpose. The University shall endeavor to allot the candidate in the College of his choice. However, he could not claim admission in a particular college as a matter of right. Page 2 of 11 The admission so made shall be notified in the press not by name but the concerned form no. which the candidates should remember by all means. The admissions shall be made in the Colleges strictly as per their approved intake. The fee structure reflected in the proceeding pages of the ONLINE Prospectus is subject to revision as per the notifications issued / to be issued by the University from time to time. Such Notifications shall be supreme for all practical purpose. In their own interest, the concerned candidates should stay in constant touch with the office of the College Development Council, University website and the local dailies. They shall not be intimated separately in above regard. In case two or more candidates having same marks in the aforesaid examination, their merit shall be decided by their individual marks in the matriculation examination.
