UNIVISION® WILL BE DROPPED FROM HBC’S CHANNEL LINEUP EFFECTIVE TODAY, OCTOBER 1, 2014. The current contract agreement between Univision® and HBC expires at the end of September. While we had hoped a new agreement could be reached, we feel that Univision®’s demands for substantially increasing rates on our customers cannot be justified and is totally unreasonable. It is for this reason that we will be dropping Univision® from our Expanded Digital channel lineup effective October 1st. We will begin to immediately look for alternative Spanish language programming. Our goal at HBC is always to provide the best entertainment value for our customers, but we will also stand up for our customers when programmers make harmful demands.
