UNR VISITS EGBABOR, COMMENDS HIS DEVELOPMENTAL EFFORTS *Says other Council Chairmen should emulate his good deeds. PAN Isoko Facebook Advocacy Group Umeh Need Road Forum (UNR) has paid a solidarity and congratulatory visit to the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor at his office in Ozoro. The Administrator of the group Barr. Duncan Akpovienehe Afahokor who led other members of the group said they were at the Chairmans Office to congratulate him on his emergence as Chairman and subsequent swearing in to office. The group said they are a critical page and hence gives kudos to leaders when they perform and knocks to them when they fail. In his response, the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, thanked the group for finding time out of their busy schedule to pay him a courtesy visit. Hon. Egbabor listed projects executed since his assumption of office to include; the rehabilitation of access roads in Ozoro, reconstruction of the Legislative Quarters, Construction of Soakaway pit at Corpers lodge Ozoro, evacuation of refuse from various illegal dump sites, clearing and evacuation of drainages in Ozoro, procurement of Mowers, renovation of Chairmans office among others. According to Hon. Egbabor, plans are underway to rehabilitate the Skill Acquisition Centres in Ozoro and Emevor while the production of soap to be called IsoNorth Soap will commence soon. The Executive Chairman said despite the paucity of funds available to the local government, the council was able to execute all the projects listed above within a very short period of time because of the stringent financial management and austerity measures put in place. High point of the visit was the inspection of completed and ongoing projects by the delegation conducted by the Chairman and top officials of the Council. Apparently satisfied with the projects inspected, the Administrator Barr. Duncan Afahokor commended the Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor and his officials for their dedication to duty and for providing the people with dividends of democracy and therefore admonished other council Chairmen to emulate the kind gestures of Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor. Present at the visit were Vice-Chairman Hon. Anthony Odhe, Secretary to the Local Government Barrister Vote Umukoro and other top officials of the council.
