UNSATISFACTORY GOVERNANCE If one day i have the chance to leave this country, I will... There is no hope in this country. Another day ruined. I hate to pay big amount of taxes and not being able to get a satisfactory service from any of the government offices. Its getting worse each day. I extremely disagree with Jose Rizal for saying the youth is the hope of the nation. He was referring to the youth this country had back then, he same youth who corrupted and tormented the helpless people. I just hope this post gets to somewhere that can help. If other countries helped the our fellows in Eastern Visayas during the Yolanda devastation, they should also see the need of help for Rehabilitation. Yes! we need to rehabilitate from being too accustomed to mediocrity, corruption and unsatisfactory governance. You look at the thoroughfares that we have, you look the kind of law we have for the kids on the street, you look at the MRT, you look at the public schools, you look at the explainable wealth of the government officials, you check the minute details in every transaction in barangay, then you look at your pay slip. You will understand that we are not being taken care of by the government. If they cannot do it then we need help from others. Why do we need to pay taxes when we are not getting the good we deserve. I am a professional. I work for an international company. I pay my tax so I have the right to demand for my rights. The international community was able to help us during our crisis. Its only that same kind of help that can cure our ill-governed nation.PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT SUCKS!!! There is no need of sugarcoating. Most of you will surely criticize me for posting this. Many of you will surely just ignore this. I know that you know, we need help. We need change. I dont think we are dumb. I dont think we are lazy. I can see lot of my colleagues working hard for their families. I was able to meet brilliant minds in various ages at work. Call it crazy but I think the better way to end this suffering is to leave the country. Now I understand why many of our fellows are not coming back. Now I understand the need of Migration. Now I understand how hopeless this country is. Until this nightmare ends, I wont stop dreaming a dream of my own to be in a better place. DISCLAIMER: Nevermin dteh grammar.
