UNTIL WE FREE OURSELVES WE WILL NEVER BE FREE What we are looking for in life and what many people are asking for, resides in how politics is being handled. Politics is the bond that relates us with economy, education, information, health and everything about our existence. It tells us the way we want to live, how to practice our religion, liberate us from economy meltdown and determine the future of the young generation. But today most of the people in politics, the so called politicians have taken most of their people as the stepping stone to their greatness and dump after being used. If all the elected politicians can perform their duties accordingly, the people will be free of their problem and the majority will have nothing to complain about. To be candid, their numerous wants and the fear for their wealth not to be ruined, will never allow the politicians to change their style. That is why they are making money without adding values and the reason behind the Politics without principle. When your attention is needed that is when they come to you, promising you heaven so they can steal your world; telling you Imam/pastor vote for us, we will do this and that. After helping them to achieve their aim and your help is no more needed that is when they will say, “Don’t mix religion with politics” as if Imam/pastor is not among the citizen of this country or has no right in government. If we don’t stand for anything, we will remain forever on our knees. That is why we must stand up against them and free ourselves from being their slave. Where decisions are making; where they decide who is to represent their interest and not interest of the people we will never be found but when deciding (during election) we are the factor that determine who rules. That same factor is where our hope resides. So if we don’t make use of that factor now to change those that will not serve the interest of the people then we will remain forever on our knees.
