UNTRAINED GOOD PUPPY NEEDS EXPERIENCED OWNER!!!! AVERAGE RATED *** SHE ALMOST MADE IT INTO ADOPTIONS AREA BUT CAUGHT THE COLD **** THIS BRINDLE BEAUTY IS READY FOR SOME SECURITY, LOVE, BASIC PUPPY TRAINING, AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY WILLING TO LEARN We have the real scope on this dog, RIVER. She was turned in with the excuse, bite people She is a 8 month old puppy,MAYBE mouthy, teething. An eye witness said the father told his son to get rid of the dog, and River was abandoned on the street. This loose and wiggly girl of 40 lbs was found by a resident who knew her, took her in, took her to the dog park. River had received very little socialization, and was over excited at the park, jumped on the man and scratched him with a nail, NO BITE. Father was reported to the ASPCA . Phony story by a family who neglected to do basic puppy training, and evidently didnt use the command NO when River got too mouthy. Once turned into the shelter she was deemed ready to go into Adoptions, but developed the cold. During assessment River earned the AVERAGE RATING for best behavior. She was on the shy and nervous side, but never exhibited aggressive behavior, the opposite really. During the tag test she was calm, and relaxed. She is a beautiful brindle puppy who will grow into those ears!
