UP PUGAD Sayk does not endorse the linked article written by a representative of WhenInManila. It has come to the organizations attention that the author, for the sake of humor, has gone as far as misrepresenting the organization and its views regarding other Psychology Organizations within the same University. This is especially apparent in the following paragraph: Out of 4 Psychology student organizations they said, Pugad Sayk differentiates itself as an amazing, awesome and cool org. Wait, what they actually told me were… they do accept members even from different college/s, seek to develop their members holistically, and they are more fun and cool than… ah I don’t want to create issues (smile). Any Psych Soc in here? Kidding me. UP PUGAD Sayk believes that all Psychology organizations within the University are equal. Each organization may emphasize different values or advocacies but UP PUGAD Sayk has not, nor has it ever believed that it is more fun and cool than any other organization in the Psychology Department. The organization would like to ask for an apology from Mr. Mic Caldo for loosely writing an article about the organization and its views without its consent.
