UPADATE ON HANK (now Bailey) Bailey is likely the most challenging (and deserving) dog weve had at CAARE. He escaped twice, crawled (and got stuck) under a car seat...the list goes on! But Bailey had potential, and a sweet soul. We hoped that someone would and have the patience and love to work with him on his insecurities. Bailey was part of a largely publicized hoarding case, and was confiscated along with 60 other dogs about 8 months ago. Many of the dogs were euthanized, as they were considered too far gone to be adopted. Bailey was part of that group, about to be PTS. We thought he deserved another chance. He was (and still is) very fearful of new situations, loud noises etc. Hes come a long way from where he was when he came into rescue, but he still has a long way to go. His wonderful adopters took Bailey on with all of his challenges. Were sure it hasnt been easy, but they have persevered. We appreciate their kindness and dedication so very much. And we believe that with their support and love, Bailey will keep working towards becoming a more balanced canine! Here are a few pictures of Bailey and his family on vacation :-)
