Our aim is to give you, the parent, an objective view on all of the big questions you might have and give you the tools to make the best decisions for your child and your family. You can also connect with the greater parent community through our forums and events where you have the opportunity to share your experiences and get more parenting tips and advice. RealParent School Readiness Programme: The RealParent School Readiness Programme is designed as a practical and interactive session for parents of school ready children. The workshop will include the fabulous Educational Psychologist , Melanie Hartgill (BA Hons Psych, M.Ed Psych (Wits), who has been specialising in educational psychology for 12 years. Her assessments and expertise include cognitive, educational, emotional, neuro-development, pre-school, subject choice, exam concessions and career assessments, as well as specialising in learning disabilities. All Parents are invited to attend this session on Saturday, 28 September 2013 @ 14h00. The workshop will run for 1,5 hours in 2 session with a tea break. The cost of the workshop is R150 per couple and R100 for individuals. Included in this price is a RealParent goodie bag (valued at R150) which includes developmental worksheets and an African ABC CD.
