UPCOMING STORM SYSTEM: Multiple graphics attached to this post. Day by day details can be found below. THURSDAY: Two main rounds of rain. One in the morning (associated with warm front), and one evening and into the overnight (associated with cold front). Some scattered showers & storms through the afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s, but bulk of rain will be AM & late PM. In my opinion, severe risk is low thanks to morning rain & clouds. I am not overly concerned. Stronger storms in the evening may contain gusty winds. Severe storms likely to our west and south. FRIDAY: The BIG change happens this day. Morning rain will decrease in intensity late afternoon and evening as cold front exits our area. Youll notice winds begin to blow from the northwest in the afternoon, ushering in MUCH cooler air. By Friday afternoon/evening, winds could gust as high as 40mph. Temperatures will fall from the 60s midday into the 50s and 40s by late evening. RAIN TOTALS THU & FRI: 1.50 - 2.50 SATURDAY: VERY cool and windy. High temperatures will only be in the 40s on Saturday with lake effect clouds/rain affecting typical lake effect areas. With sustained winds 15-25mph on Saturday (gusts to 35mph), wind chill values (the feels like temperature) during much of the day will be in the 30s. Break out the sweatshirts and coats if you will be outdoors! SUNDAY: Morning frost likely with overnight lows Sat PM/Sun AM in the middle 30s. Areas that see skies clear overnight may flirt with freezing. Winds begin to subside and we see gradual warming into the 50s. Still a few areas that will see rain, but well see peeks of sun from time to time as well. NEXT WEEK: Gradual warming trend.
