UPDATE 11-26-14: Today has been a lot better than yesterday. I was in the bed most of the day with a sick migraine yesterday. It was all I could do to pull the pillow from behind Dylan and put him on his back without getting sick. Needles to say, we didnt get to get him up. Today has been much better. Dylan has been pretty alert. Tonight when I was talking to him, I noticed that every time I touched him, he jumped like he was startled. I didnt think much of it. I just thought he was that relaxed. Then when I went to turn him and give him his meds at 8pm, his heart rate was in the 140s and he was warm to the touch and flushed. His temp was only 99.2, but I went ahead and gave him some Tylenol for that and possible pain. At 9pm, he was less flushed and not as jumpy, and his heart rate had come down to the 90s. He is doing fine now. His heart rate only goes up a little when he coughs. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Have a good day tomorrow and please dont take your families for granted.
