UPDATE 11-27-14: Today has been a great day. The morning was spent cooking. Then at about 215, we got Dylan dressed and up in the chair and went next door to my mother-in-laws for lunch. Nana and Pappy and the girls came up. Nana pushed Dylan down the road since we dont have a van yet to transport him. (We are thankful for nice asphalt!) We enjoyed a feast like no other. There was so. much. food! I kept asking Dylan if he was going to wake up and eat some turkey, but he didnt. Maybe hell wake up for left-overs tomorrow. After a couple of hours of very nice fellowship with family and friends, we brought Dylan home and got him back to bed. He has rested well since then. Days like today usually wear him out....... and us too! Even though today was not exactly as I would have liked, (the only thing I would have changed would have been Dylans condition), we are still blessed so much more than we ever deserved! As I thought about those that had an empty place at their table today, I thought about just how lucky I am to still have my boy with me! We are still praying for that miracle, but if God doesnt see fit to give us that on this side of Heaven, we are still blessed beyond measure!! Thank You, Lord, for ALL Your many blessings on my little family!!
