UPDATE: 6/20/2013 PayPal Removal Hello Members, After just a short time of processing payments through the PayPal payment system, Paypal has reversed its previous commitment to process BT purchases. There were no payment issues other than exceeding some arbitrary dollar limit which was never specified or indicated in any way. In fact, just the opposite was true. We were very close to our estimates of what we had told PayPal to expect and yet they used that very volume to justify their lockdown of our account’s outgoing activity. Please understand that this was a fully verified business account that had been active since 2011. This was the same account that we have been using to purchase all of our traffic, pay our programmers and all of our hosting and server management accounts. Before we made any attempt to use this PayPal account for processing member purchases, we had many discussion with PayPal management concerning our complete business description and received many assurances that this would not be a problem. We continued to accept member’s PayPal payments during this lockdown period because we were assured everything would be resolved with just a little more information. After 6 days of these ridiculous restrictions, we were given their final decision. They will honor all completed orders but we may not remove more than a portion of this money over the next 60 days. After which time all remaining funds will be held for 180 days. They even restricted our own money that we had in our account. We may only remove these funds to our bank account and not by using the “send money” function, not even to pay our own members or product and service providers. We believe the manner in which PayPal has acted to be both arbitrary and unethical. We will also be closing our other business and personal PayPal accounts. we will no longer be doing business with PayPal at any level. We had high hopes for PayPal and we know this is disappointing news but we are financially capable of having the remaining portion of funds held for 180 days without any problem. We are seeking other payment processors to add to Payza and STP. We are already talking to WorldPay and Webmoney. Our goal is to find processors, including regional processors for different parts of the world, that will be better suited to meet your requirements. Best Regards, BT Admin
