UPDATE 8/6: Yesterday the refund that Enterprise promised to make - TopicsExpress

UPDATE 8/6: Yesterday the refund that Enterprise promised to make did clear our bank account. Only problem is they shorted us $3.35. Now that isnt a to of money, I agree, but it does show the lack of concern that Enterprise of Dublin, Ga has for their clients (we have a corporate account and typically rent once a month). This also shows a lack of professionalism as the manager of that store, Chandra, obviously didnt take the time to even look at the overcharge and just issued a refund. And after I constantly informed Enterprise of the hardship that their error caused SoCo Rescue, they apparently didnt care that $3.35 could have purchased a gallon of bleach, a pack of paper towels or some other item that we constantly need to properly care for the 79 dogs that we have. I did speak with an Enterprise regional district manager today who promised to look into why our rescue was purposely overcharged for this rental. Again and as I informed this man, when I returned the rented car, I was issued a statement showing the actual return date (July 21) and what the charges should have been (169.71) Enterprise of Dublin emailed a statement on July 25 claiming the return date was July 23 with the charges being $273.06. Apparently someone at the Dublin store was trying to pad their commission check-Id think that the suits at Enterprise would like to know why one of their employees is basically stealing from them too. The regional manager also promised to issue an additional $100 to the SoCo Rescue bank account in an effort to show how sorry he was that this happened. I greatly appreciate this gesture, as we are struggling financially, but do hope that the corporate office thoroughly investigates this illegal and unprofessional action. One has to wonder how many others have likewise been ripped off in such a manner? How often does the Dublin location of Enterprise conduct business in such a manner? I met with a representative of our bank and discussed possible legal action against Enterprise.
