UPDATE: Bobbys mom made it through her procedure and did well. They placed 2 stints and ballooned the previous stint. Shes resting well and he said shes doing great. Thank you so much for praying for his mother and for his safe travels today to be with her. Please continue to pray for continued healing for her. I am just getting home from a full day of testing, bloodwork, doctor visit, etc. I had a stress/echo today, which showed a leak in my aortic valve. I will be having another procedure on Monday morning to evaluate further, but my doctor is pretty positive that I have endocarditis. All of my doctors so far agree that I have an immune deficiency, probably auto immune, as well as something rheumatoid. My body is basically reacting to the severe training and cant keep up with it, so the lymphadema and fever are a product. I have been advised today that I can not continue the IM training due to my immunity issues and my body breaking down as a result. This of course breaks my heart and is hard to hear after giving so much to this training. BUT...God has a plan. Im down, but not out. He said this is treatable, will take a lot of time and that I need to heal, but that hes sure that I will be fine. I have to re-evaluate what I am doing and use a different approach once healed, but thats ok as well. During my treatment, they will evaluate if I need a biopsy of my lymph nodes because of the continuous lymphedema, but well cross that bridge when we get there. In the meantime guess what? God is still on the throne! He is bigger than all of this. He called me to run for His glory and that I will. His Word says theres a time and purpose under Heaven for everything. Right now is my time to rest and heal. In this time, I will seek Him even harder and listen even more intently. I trust Him completely and I know that His purpose will be revealed. I will post more on Monday after I am home and comfortable. My procedure will be at 9am and I will be under anesthesia for this, so prayers are appreciated. Keep praying, keep believing, and Keep Moving Forward.
