UPDATE: Effective immediately, the Dragon Hill Lodge gate, Gate #1, will be closed to all incoming and outgoing traffic. There will be road work conducted on the south side of the bridge during this time. Work on the road is estimated to take roughly 10 days. Completion of this, and other projects around the installation, will greatly enhance safe and comfortable driving conditions for the entire community. The pedestrian gate will not be affected whatsoever while construction is taking place. The road work will constrict traffic coming in and out of the Dragon Hill Lodge as well. Essentially there will be no left-hand turns going into the DHL main entrance and only right-hand turns coming out. If you continue past the main entrance, the next left, which is IX Corps Blvd., there is a detour. Drivers are encouraged to pay close attention to the signs and also to directions from the Military Police that are out there helping maintain safety of the community. Just a friendly reminder: Gate #4 will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Using this gate will greatly decrease traffic flow issues in other places around the installation while road work is being conducted.
