UPDATE FROM Pastor MB-An in HARD-HIT BAMBARI, C.A.R. Greetings from Bangui in the precious name of Jesus. I hope you all are doing well there. I want to let you know I am back from my missionary trip. I had to visit all the churches I did program. The trip was very painful because I walked by foot on 65 km in the bush. Sometimes, I paid taxi motorcycles to move. I want to tell you i was touched in my heart, I was discouraged because of the things I saw in all the villages. • In all the villages, most of the population live in the bush. • In Mala, 29 houses were burnt by the former rebels of Seleka when they attacked the city in May. • There is no hospital because the rebels stole all things in. I dont know how people do when they are sick. We are in rain season now and they dont have medicament to take if they get malaria. In Poungakola village, a member of the church lost his daughter because of malaria. • The pastor of Mala church took me and we followed members of the church who live in the bush since the rebels did attack of the city. They are fear to return in their home because of another attack by the rebels. They miss things like soap, salt, sugar, etc...The situation is terrible there, but I thank God for his grace, protection and provision for his people. “I had opportunity to gather the evangelists and church planters in the Kobadja. We spent two days together. We took time to listen to the Word of God, to pray God for the situation we are facing in our country. I encouraged them to be faithful in their faith, and their ministry. Together we decided to have two formations: 1. From August 4-15, 2. September 16-26. “I thank you for your prayers for safety during the trip. Thanks for prayers that God will intervene for his people in the situation they are facing by providing needs. Thank you for your prayers for our country. Yesterday, the Seleka and Anti-balaka groups signed to stop with the hostilities on the population. That event happened in Brazzaville. Please, keep praying that the two groups will respect their signature for the cease fire. “Again, thank you. God bless you. Together with you in the Gospel. – Pastor MB-An
