UPDATE: Happy Friday guys! Just a few quick updates, and Im going to try to keep it as upbeat as possible! Dad had an ultrasound this morning on his left foot, leg and thigh. He has swelling, pain and numbness that he feels might be more clots. Results from that will be in later today and will determine the cause and whether or not hell need a filter put in. (Were believing otherwise) Hes been struggling with short-term memory loss, anxiety and at times, fights depression (all normal side-effects from the brain trauma). But to break it down for yall, in his mind, he can sense something is missing or not quite right, and gets nervous, frustrated and at times scared. Sometimes hell check out, so to speak, and forgets where he is and whats going on, and thats what scares him the most. Theyve referred him to a neuropsychologist to help him cope and find ways to overcome these, although they say the fact that he can register that theres a missing piece somewhere is a good sign! I do apologize for the delays in updates; when we come to mind, if you could just say a quick word of prayer. Best way I know to put it is that our house is basically throwing a tantrum lol. The breaker has been knocking 4-5 times on a daily basis, outlets sparking and lights going out, HOWEVER... (theres some good news in here, people, I promise lol) we were blessed to locate a warranty that covered all of that to be fixed. All thats left now is to fix the roof (which has been leaking in every room), and in addition, while mom and I were demo-ing the upstairs bathroom, we located some kind of black mold under the tiles, mom was allergic, got sick and had to be rushed to the ER (she is PERFECTLY OKAY now, just a mild allergic reaction), so we had to call it quits. ALL THIS BEING SAID... God is good, all the time. And He is faithful to provide for His children. We are not worried nor discouraged, but please do remember us in your prayers!
