UPDATE: Kimberely Blackburn: 4pm Friday: I am cautiously pleased to tell you that Kims organs are now functioning well enough that Drs think she may not even need dialysis! Fluids are now being processed and passed by her body. Family is smiling and relaxed and God is being thanked for His mercy and grace. Recovery now looks like it is more than a possibility and probably a reality. We are careful to walk closely to The Lord and humbly continue to ask for His favor. Kim will remain in CCU over the weekend at least and will still be heavily sedated until her lungs can be weaned off the ventilator. Pneumonia is always a concern under these circumstances, so please continue with us in prayer.
