UPDATE!!!!!!!!! Led by our unified taxi industry leaders Benjamin Wash and Anne Turner results are coming through. A multi pronged approach has seen governments engaged around Australia with mixed results. 1/ Leaders of political parties have been engaged in Queensland 2/ SA political leaders have told their various departments to crack down on gocatch and uber with some success 3/ NSW continues to crack down on uber 4/ Ultra conservative states like Victoria and WA continue to drag their heals. Social media results have seen many attacks by thwarted uber activists attack our sites say we are hurting uber and they continue their attacks and we will continue to achieve great results. A facebook page has been set up for our passengers to engage us and tell us how we can help them. Surveys are being initiated to gauge what our drivers think of our industry and a separate survey to engage the public. Sole activists arresting uber continues to claim results which the united industry has achieved as his. But nutcases making headlines helps us get out the message that uber is illegal but unfortunately their lies are catching up with them like these clasics 1/ I will shut down uber in 48 Hours two weeks ago 2/ I will arrest 10 uber drivers a week and shut down uber in 7 days three weeks ago 3/ I have shut down ubers office in Sydney but in fact it was a public holiday 4/ I will arrest every Uber ceo in Australia but no arrests have occurred We say let them continue as we need those headline grabbers and when he falls on his face he will not be associated with the industry. Campaigns pointing out the hazards of uber will be rolled out in the main stream media very shortly Uber are so concerned in WA that they are offering free rides for a week which goes to show their campaigns are not working and they can and will be stopped.
