UPDATE: Mom had a little bit of a rough day yesterday where to change her food diet back down a level because the difficulty in swallowing I think probably 10 of that is like her shes still having pain and discomfort from having the breathing tube down her throat the rest of it is trying to teach that muscle to be able to swallow again which I know is going to be a long long haul but the good thing is that shes at least of his feeding tube trying to work with her with using her left hand to eat with and everything because that is the side that is affected but she was able to do a little yesterday and not using a fork she did a lot better with a spoon me but hey anythings better than nothing the syrupy is working with her very diligently the physical therapy occupational therapy speech therapy all of that is working with her now comes the struggle that she needs to go to an inpatient rehab hospital not a skilled nursing facility she will not get the rehab for the care that she needs at either one of those places because she needs intense therapy multiple hours a day 7 days a week and be able to have the doctors on call and be right there at any need and availability but God forbid something should happen at the other places should be lucky if she got 30 minutes if that and only a physical therapy so the struggle begins where to place her I say stay at St Lukes and just move out before because weve been teasing her that shes using that song from the show The Jeffersons movin on up so please continue to pray hard for my mom and her my dad cause he has hard decisions and choices to make and please pray for my family for my sons who are also having a hard time with all of this because of different things they cant be there all the time and it is hard for them to see my mom in this condition please pray for me that I can continue to try to have the strength and the ability to stay with her and help take care of her the way it needs to be done I think those who prayed last night for me and sent messages so that I could get home safely I got home at about 2 oclock yesterday afternoon and other than a few brief moments I slept straight through I was exhausted wore out and beat but I am rejuvenated and ready to go this morning todays a new day for my mom for me for my family and for everyone may the Sun Shine upon all of us may God bless us all and look upon us thank you again for your prayers we love you all and we appreciate everything more updates later
