UPDATE!!! My dad Ken Talley is making great progress! Praise The Lord! I spoke with the lung doctor this afternoon during visiting time and he is impressed with dads progress. He is conservatively turning down the ventilator before starting another weaning trial. Dad is well below the settings they would normal extubate a patient but due to the previous issue the doctor is heeding on the side of caution. Dads spirits are much better, he looks better, and seems to be generally handling the situation altogether better! God is good!! Please continue to pray for strength, he has a second / third chance at recovery. God is in control always has been!!
