UPDATE: My parents got a second opinion and they think he needs the surgery on his skull as well. However, he has less fluid in his ear than he did two weeks ago; so, it doesnt rule out the possibility of a leak, but it confirms to continue waiting to see how he heals before proceeding with surgery. Its amazing how many medical personnels that have helped Zack are in the community. Tonight, my parents went to Sams football game and, sitting next to them in the stands, was the nurse anesthetist that aided in his tracheotomy on the fourth of July. He recognized them and asked how Zack was doing. It means a lot to all of us when people check in on Zack and our family like they have been doing. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
