UPDATE NOVEMBER 11,2014 : its Tuesday at the Abbey , and my mom has chosen to spend the afternoon in her yard and on and around the tipi grounds today ! The sun is warming her face the wind is blowing her her hair and shawl , the smell of piñon burning in the neighbors wood stove and the white caps on the mountains has let us know we as a family have survived to see another changing of the seasons . My moms health improves on a daily basis , but life is not without its complications either . So like always we will do our best to persevere and keep moving forward . My mom finally had a breakdown this past weekend and allowed herself to be free of the anxiety of being away from an institution and just cry and welcome herself back home . So today is a brand new day with new challenges . We finally got travel oxygen today after three weeks , however my moms therapeutic remote control bed broke and her chair started shorting out on the very same day . I have no idea how she did this all before , shes amazing . She wants to let you all know she is wanting visitors !! The phone calls yes but they need to be kept short due to the tracheotomy and it wears her out . Like I said before come by with a meal and sit down and visit and spend a little time ! So as her on grounds family member I am working as fast as I can and as many hours allowed to help my mom with her bills and broken items and food etc , but I cant do it all friends . Yes I know Ive been here many times requesting help but I do truly believe we are almost there ! So if you yourself cannot , maybe you know somebody who can ! One of the surprises we came home to was finding out my moms income was cut by two thirds . So its been up to me to help cover what I can , Ill be able to do it soon enough I just cant make payroll companies move any faster lol . So please spread the word , that this really is the final push to get her 100% settled before winter . And any assistance towards her bills or these new breakdowns would be mighty appreciated friends and family ! Please friends we are almost finished!!
