UPDATE ON ABBY JO: Andrea Hopkins 48 minutes ago The surgeon just called us back, and theyre finished. Most everything went as planned. They did end up using vessels from the leg and did a complete bypass on both sides. She has a huge incision on her belly and a decent sized one on her leg. No word yet on if the surgery actually worked as far as blood pressure, but the next 24 hours are major. She lost some blood, and shes on blood thinners, and with that huge incision as well as sewn up arteries...the most obvious risk is bleeding. So far she doesnt need a transfusion. I dread seeing her in so much pain, but I am so thankful the surgery is over. I cant wait to see my baby girl!! Thank you SO much for the kind words, support, and the prayers. I will post more later.
