UPDATE ON BROM... I made a trip to Colonial Veterinary Hospital today to check on Brom. The FANTASTIC doctors and staff determined that surgery would be needed in order to save Broms leg. However, they elected to wait one more day so that his bruised lung could have a little more time to heal. He has numerous gashes, scrapes, and bruises and is on pain relievers and fluids. It was a priviledge to be able not only to see this sweet pup, but to meet the amazing people who are the heart and soul of Colonial. The care and concern was evident in everything they did....right down to their Angel Paws Fund. The Angel Paws Fund was set up by Colonial and funded by donations to help families pay for emergency vet care for their beloved family members. From this fund, they gave a donation of $1,500.00 toward Broms vet bill. Combine that with the $1,200.00 that the family has and that leaves a balance of $2500.00. And thats where the GoFundMe fund comes in. This fund was set up by the family in an effort to raise the remaining funds and we are chipping away at it $20, $30, $40, at a time.
